Account and data

Delete your account

A permanent, immediate deletion of your tellmint account and everything in it: your entries, memories, profile, and account.

Where to find it

Settings → Your Data → Delete Account.

What happens when you tap it

  1. A confirmation dialog explains what will be removed. Read it carefully — this is not reversible.
  2. You tap Delete everything to confirm.
  3. A short progress dialog runs while tellmint removes your data.
  4. The app signs out to the welcome screen.

What gets deleted

  • All your entries (thoughts and tasks).
  • Everything in Mint Memory and your personalization profile.
  • Feedback you sent through the in-app form, including any attached screenshots.
  • Your account itself.
  • All your recording audio files on this phone.
  • The local app cache (settings, cached entries).

Nothing personal remains.

What is not part of account deletion

  • Chat history. Mint Reflect conversations live on your phone, not on our servers, so there is nothing server-side to purge. They are cleared locally as part of the sign-out / data-wipe above.
  • Google Play subscriptions. See the warning at the top — cancel in Play first.

Re-creating an account

Creating a new account with the same email later creates a fresh start. It cannot "undelete" the old account, that data is gone.

Questions before you pull the trigger?

If you're worried about something specific, lost data, an active subscription, a billing issue, contact us before you delete. Open tellmint → avatar → Settings → Contact Us, or visit tellmint.com/support. We read every message.

If you just want a fresh start

You don't have to delete your account to reset your journal. These three steps give you a blank slate without losing the account itself, so you can keep your subscription, your sign-in, and the option to come back any time:

  • Delete individual entries from the feed (swipe an entry, tap the bin).
  • Wipe Mint Memory from Settings → More settings → Personalization → Mint Memory → Clear all memories.
  • Reset your profile from Edit Profile.

If a fresh start sounds right, try this path first. Account deletion is the nuclear option.

Good to know

  • Deleting your account signs you out on every device.
  • Deletion is all-or-nothing: there is no way to keep some fields and remove others.
  • If deletion fails midway (rare, usually network), the app surfaces an error. Retry when your connection is back.

Plan & limits

No plan gating.
