Common questions

Is my audio uploaded to the cloud?

No. Your audio recordings are stored only on your device. Audio is sent briefly for AI processing and immediately discarded — it is never stored on our servers.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use tellmint completely anonymously. An account (just an email) is only needed for multi-device sync or Pro features.

How do I delete my account and data?

Delete your account

Open tellmint → tap your profile avatar (top-left) → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data from our servers, including entries, memories, AI profile, and settings. This action cannot be undone.

Delete individual entries

Swipe left on any entry in the feed, or open an entry and tap the delete icon. Entries are permanently removed from our servers within 14 days.

Delete local audio

Go to Settings → Storage Management to clear locally stored audio files.

You can also email us to request data deletion at any time.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings > Privacy & Analytics > Export My Data. You will receive two files:

  • • A JSON file with your full data (entries, memories, profile, preferences)
  • • A CSV spreadsheet you can open in Excel or Google Sheets

Only your personal content is included — no internal system data. Audio files are stored locally on your device and can be accessed via Settings > Storage Management.

What are the free plan limits?

The free plan includes 50 voice recordings per month, up to 30 seconds each. Core features are included free: AI processing, search, calendar, notifications, Pattern Sky, and PDF export.

Mint Chat and longer recordings unlock with Pro. The app shows your final local monthly price from Google Play before you confirm, including tax where required.

Does tellmint work offline?

Yes. You can record voice notes offline. They are queued and processed automatically when you reconnect to the internet.
