How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions live in Google Play, not in the app. Open Google Play → menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → tellmint → Cancel subscription. You keep Pro or Max until the current period ends.

How do I delete my account?

Open tellmint → tap your avatar → Settings → Delete Account. Server data is deleted immediately and permanently. There is no recovery window.

If you have a Pro or Max subscription, cancel it in Google Play first. Deleting your tellmint account does not cancel the Google Play subscription, so you will keep being charged unless you also cancel there.

How do I export my data?

Open tellmint → avatar → Settings → Your Data → Export My Data. You get a JSON file with your full export (profile, settings, entries, memories) and a CSV of just the entries. Limit: one export every 24 hours.

A purchase failed or I was charged but didn't unlock Pro

Make sure you are signed into the same account in both Google Play and tellmint (guest users cannot buy or restore). Then open the profile sheet and tap Restore purchases.

If it still doesn't unlock, message us with your Google Play order ID and we'll fix it directly.

My entries aren't showing up on another device

tellmint syncs across devices only when you are signed in with the same account on each one. Open the profile sheet and check the account email; if you were a guest on the other device, sign in there too so everything catches up.

The home-screen widget isn't working

On Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco and other MIUI / HyperOS phones, the launcher aggressively limits widgets. Enable Home screen shortcuts, set tellmint to No restrictions in battery settings, and turn on Autostart for tellmint.

Is my voice stored in the cloud?

No. Audio is transcribed and then the raw file is discarded. Never kept on our servers, never used to train AI, never heard by a human. Your transcript and structured entry are kept so search and editing can work.
