Daily and weekly digests

Gentle scheduled recaps of what you've recorded. The daily digest looks at the last 24 hours; the weekly digest wraps the whole week, Spotify-wrapped style.

Where to find them

  • Daily Digest: Settings → Notifications → Daily Digest. Once enabled, you can also open it directly from the profile sheet (avatar → Your Insights → Daily Digest).
  • Weekly Digest: Settings → Advanced → Notifications → Weekly Digest. (The Advanced section is collapsed by default, tap it to expand.)
  • Each digest also has its own screen reachable by tapping its notification.

What each digest shows

Daily digest

  • Time-of-day greeting.
  • One-line sentiment summary ("You were mostly calm yesterday").
  • Activity summary ("5 thoughts, 3 tasks, 2 completed").
  • Top domain of the day.
  • A compact list of yesterday's entries.
  • Streak indicator if applicable.

Weekly digest

  • Week range header.
  • Top emotion and how often it showed up.
  • Top themes / words.
  • Tasks completed vs. created.
  • Biggest domain focus.
  • Trend vs. last week.
  • A mood heatmap for the week.

How to turn them on

  1. Open Settings.
  2. For the daily digest: Notifications → Daily Digest → toggle on → pick a time.
  3. For the weekly digest: scroll to Advanced, tap to expand, scroll to its Notifications sub-section → Weekly Digest → toggle on → pick a weekday and time.

You'll be asked for notification permission if you don't already have it.

Good to know

  • Digests arrive quietly. Android's inexact alarm is used so the OS can batch them with other notifications, they may fire up to about 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
  • Content is regenerated when you open the screen, not when the notification fires. So opening a digest the next day still shows accurate content.
  • Empty days are handled: if nothing was recorded, the digest says so gracefully instead of showing blanks.
  • Time zone: times are interpreted in your device time zone; travel changes when they fire.
  • Silence nudges: a separate "Silence Acknowledgments" toggle (Settings → Advanced → Notifications → Silence Acknowledgments) quietly nudges you if you haven't recorded in a few days. On by default: turn it off here if you'd rather tellmint stay quiet during breaks.

Plan & limits

No plan gating. Both digests are available on every plan.
