Insights → Action tab → Fresh insight card → Generate.
What you get
- Headline: one line that captures the emotional arc.
- Summary: two or three sentences connecting recent themes.
- Signals: two or three short phrases (5–8 words each) describing what stood out.
- Open threads: unresolved things you've mentioned that haven't resolved yet.
- Suggested focus: one gentle reflection prompt for the days ahead.
How it's generated
- Uses your last 14 days of entries.
- Enriched by Mint Memory when useful.
- Runs through a large language model, takes a few seconds.
- Stored so you can reopen the same Fresh Insight later without regenerating.
Good to know
- You need at least 5 entries in the last 14 days. Below that, the Generate button returns a friendly "not enough recent entries yet" message, keep journaling for a few days and try again.
- 72-hour cooldown between generations, tellmint won't let you generate a fresh insight more than once every three days, even if you still have monthly quota left.
- Monthly quota is plan-based (see below). Quota resets on your billing anchor date, for Free users that's your account creation date; for Pro/Max it's your subscription purchase date.
- Admins skip both limits (for internal testing).
- Counter on the card shows how many fresh insights you have left this month.
