Refunds

Google Play is the payment system for subscriptions and in-app purchases. The fastest path is to request a refund through Google Play, but you can also contact tellmint support with your Google Play order ID so we can review the order where it is visible and eligible in Play Console.

Where to request a refund

Use Google Play's refund flow from the same Google account that made the purchase.

  1. Open the Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Open Budget & history or Subscriptions.
  5. Choose the tellmint purchase.
  6. Follow Google's refund request steps.

You can also use Google's web refund page if you manage purchases in a browser. If you contact tellmint support instead, include your Google Play order ID. It usually starts with GPA..

What happens after a refund

  • A refunded subscription or top-up may stop working immediately.
  • Your plan can drop back to Free if Google Play reports the purchase as refunded.
  • Your journal data is not deleted by a refund.
  • If you still need your data, export it from Settings → Export My Data before deleting your account.

When to contact us

Contact us if Google Play says the purchase is not recognized, the wrong plan is showing in tellmint, you restored purchases and the app still does not update, or you want us to review an eligible order from Play Console.
